The Cho Pat Dual Action Knee Strap is a firm support which is lined with neoprene which gives excellent support. It works by providing firm compressive force above and underneath the knee cap. This pressure restrains the knee cap and the surrounding areas, helping to prevent a knock-kneed posture (known as "squinting patella". This is vital, as an incorrect posture increases tension in the Ilio Tibial band and causes Runners Knee.
When the knee cap posture is corrected using the Cho Pat Dual Action Knee Strap, strain is relieved on the Ilio Tibial Band and this, in turn, reduces the friction which causes pain during running activities.
